Kin Is Less Than Kind is a modern day telling of the classic story of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark. Instead of Kings and Princes however the players in this tale are the rich and privileged of today’s world, specifically as portrayed in the TV show Gossip Girl.

As such it is a game of greed, lust, revenge, infidelity, treachery, incest and all round dubious morality. Not to mention ghosts.

No particular knowledge of either Hamlet or Gossip Girl is needed to run or play in this game. Significant artistic licence has been taken with both.

It takes place at the reading of the will of a hugely successful businessman, Henri Markden. He died suddenly a week ago and all of the characters are either family members, close family friends or associated hangers on.

It is expected that over the course of the 2-3 hour game that the truth behind Henri Markden’s death will be revealed, along with all the dirty secrets that the other characters wish to keep hidden.

You have to make a hard decision. Do you want to be immortal, or do you want to save the world? Your Cabal of mages and sundry ne'er-do-wells have been trying to put the fragments of a broken God back together for a while now, and you just need to find one more fragment. Can you do it before the witch hunters catch up to you, or before the God wakes up and possesses you like a broken doll?
